A radiant sun takes on a more cinematic destiny, its glittered hemisphere quietly recalling a certain infamous battle station. Suspended above a storm of blues and purples bursting across a deep black ground, the planetary form presides with theatrical calm over the surrounding turbulence. As an early step into abstraction by Fordee, the piece balances playfulness with atmosphere. It invites the viewer to consider how myth, memory, and cosmos often share the same sky — and how the dark side of anything is sometimes the most beautiful.
